Can we talk about how I spent 3 years sending the same resume mistake to every job?

I was applying to about 15 jobs a week in Austin and getting nothing back. Then a recruiter named Dana called me last Tuesday and asked why my resume had no numbers in it, just tasks. I looked at it and realized every bullet said stuff like 'helped with projects' and 'managed social media' with zero results. She said one line should say I grew a page from 200 to 12,000 followers in 8 months, not just that I ran it. I rewrote the whole thing in one afternoon with real numbers from my old job. Has anyone else had a recruiter point out something that obvious about their resume?
