Compared using a career coach vs just winging it for my job search

Spent $300 on a career coach last month and got a callback within 2 weeks, but the 6 months before that with just online apps got me nowhere. Has anyone else tried a coach and actually seen results?

Paid $400 for one and landed a job in three weeks, totally worth it.

Totally worth it" is a stretch. You got lucky - plenty of people drop $400 and get nothing but ghosted.
