Comparing two interview prep methods, the mock panel beat my solo flashcards in 3 weeks
I had a second round interview coming up for a project coordinator role in Austin and I thought I could just drill common questions alone. Spent about 14 hours making flashcards and recording myself. Then a friend suggested I do a mock panel with three of her coworkers over a lunch break. First mock was rough, I kept rambling and giving way too many details. After two more sessions, I noticed my answers got tighter and I started reading the room better. The solo prep helped me know the facts, but the mock panel taught me how to actually talk to people. Got the offer last Tuesday. Has anyone else tried a group mock and seen a big jump in their delivery?
