Hit 500 applications on Indeed without a single interview...
I've been tracking every job I apply to on a spreadsheet since January, and yesterday I hit 500 exactly... I didn't plan this as a milestone or anything, it just happened. Anyone else ever stop and look at their numbers and feel a little hopeless about the whole process?

The 500 number is rough, no doubt... but have you checked what job boards those companies are actually posting on? I had a buddy who was doing the same thing on Indeed, hitting a wall at like 300 apps, then he started cross-referencing the same job titles on LinkedIn and the company websites directly. Turns out a lot of those "urgent hires" on Indeed are just reposted by third party bots or agencies that never even look at the applications... Some companies don't even use Indeed anymore because they got sick of the fake applicants flooding in too.
