Last summer, my friend Jake jumped ship for a 15% raise at a tech startup. He was miserable within six months bc the culture was toxic. I always tell my crew to look at the whole package, not just the paycheck. Things like work-life balance and boss fit matter way more long-term. A few extra bucks ain't worth hating your life every Monday morning.

Adam's got it right. Watched a coworker chase a big title and end up with panic attacks from the stress. The math never works out.
