Did you at least help clean it up or did you just sit there frozen? I've had my share of awkward interview moments, but that sounds like a true nightmare. Honestly, sometimes these things end up being a funny story later, even if it stings right now. Hope you were still able to show them your real skills after the mess was cleaned up. Keep your head up, these things happen to the best of us.

Oh come on, sometimes sitting frozen is the smart move - jumping in to clean could make things worse or make you look desperate. Honestly, a little chaos might actually make you more memorable than if everything went perfectly smooth.
