Just hit 500 stairs in a single house and it got me thinking about efficiency

So I framed a 4 story townhouse last week and counted 509 steps total between all the flights. That got me wondering - is it better to set up a central cutting station and haul everything up or keep your saw on each floor and move it around? I used to pack my miter saw up three flights every morning but that killed my back after day 3. On the other hand carrying all the trim up at once meant tripping over boards all day. Which side are you on for tall jobs - stationary saw or mobile setup? How many stairs is your breaking point before you change your method?

Does a rolling scaffold cart save you more time than extra trips?

Actually heard from a contractor buddy that it cuts down wasted trips by a lot. He said he used to make like 15 trips back and forth for a single wall, now it's maybe 3 or 4. The cart holds all his tools right there so he just rolls it along instead of climbing down every five minutes. Definitely feels like one of those things that pays for itself in time saved after just a few jobs.
