Why does nobody warn you about cheap chop saw blades binding up on 2x4s
I grabbed a 3 pack of no name 12 inch blades from the bargain bin at a hardware store in Boise last spring to save about $40, and the second one grabbed a knot on a pressure treated 2x4 and kicked the whole saw back into my forearm. I got lucky with just a deep bruise and a wrecked board, but I later figured out the carbide tips were brazed so uneven the kerf wandered almost a sixteenth over a 10 foot rip. What is everyone running for a mid range blade that holds up on treated lumber without costing an arm and a leg?
