Got screamed at by a customer in Austin for handing them the wrong color receipt paper

Ngl I just grabbed a new roll from the top shelf without checking the shade of white. She said 'this is clearly off-white and it's going to clash with my invoice system.' I told her it was the same stuff we've always used and she threw the roll at me. Like who even notices that stuff? Has anyone else had a customer freak out over something that small?

Hand her a paint swatch next time and tell her to pick her favorite shade of receipt paper, maybe throw in a free fan deck of white tones while you're at it.

My buddy runs a print shop in San Antonio and he told me one time a customer brought back a stack of business cards because the "blue in the logo was 2% too dark" compared to her monitor. She stood there while he pulled up the Pantone book and made him match it by eye against 50 different shades. He said he just wanted to hand her a refund and be done but she kept insisting he was colorblind. People get weirdly serious about tiny details like that.
