I finally stopped arguing with customers about return policies after one bad experience
Used to fight every single return like it was my job until a lady screamed at me for 20 minutes over a $12 shirt back in March at the Cedar Mall and I realized it just wasn't worth the stress, has anyone else had that moment where you just gave up on being the policy enforcer?

That "12 dollar shirt" line hit me hard. I used to be the same way till I got yelled at over a 5 dollar late fee and realized my blood pressure wasn't worth the company's bottom line. Now I just hand them the refund and mutter "have a nice day" under my breath like a coward.

Wear the coward badge proudly man, I've gotten so good at fake smiling through a refund that I should be on a cereal box. Pretty sure my sarcastic "have the day you deserve" is just code for "I hope your car gets towed" at this point.
