Hit 50 bad joke fails in one month and it taught me something

Last month I counted every time a joke I told landed flat or made someone mad. I hit 50 by the end of the month. That number surprised me because I thought I was funny. Most of the fails came from puns about my neighbor's dog or jokes about work deadlines. One joke about a slow driver almost got me yelled at in the parking lot. It made me realize I need to read the room better before opening my mouth. Has anyone else tracked their joke fail rate and noticed a pattern?

Damn, 50 bad jokes in one month? That's honestly impressive in a horrifying way, like you're a professional at being unfunny. I would have probably stopped counting after the first three just to protect my own feelings. Sounds like that parking lot almost turned into a real life fight club over a punchline.

and honestly I kinda feel for the guy. 50 bad jokes takes some kind of dedication even if it's just to prove a point. It's like when you start a bad project and you gotta see it through even though everyone is telling you to stop. That parking lot thing sounds wild though, I would have just walked away after the first punchline. People get way too heated over jokes these days, it's embarrassing. Good on you for keeping count though, that's some real patience.
