Just realized my "5 minute" home network fix turned into a 4 hour nightmare
It took me three hours to track down a single loose coax cable behind the TV stand that was causing intermittent drops, and my wife kept asking why I was still yelling at the router.

Happens to the best of us. That coax cable is always the sneaky one. Your wife asking why you're yelling at the router is way too real.

Had the exact same thing happen last week with my dad's TV. Spent a solid 20 minutes tightening coax cables, rebooting the modem, even tried sacrificing a old HDMI cable to the tech gods. Finally realized the splitter in the attic was corroded from a roof leak. Felt like a genius and an idiot at the same time.
