Told a pun about my broken pencil at my niece's 8th birthday in Fresno and her friend just stared at me and said "why is that funny"
I thought kids loved silly jokes but that one dead eyed look from a third grader made me realize my whole comedy thing only works on other dads, so is there a support group for guys whose best material dies in front of children?

My buddy Gary bombed the same way at a Chuck E Cheese in Modesto, so just save the dad jokes for dads.
