First solo injector swap on a 6.0 ended with zero comebacks
Took the plunge last Thursday at Werner's Diesel over in Scranton and did my first full injector replacement on a customer's F-250. That old 6.0 had a dead #3 and I was sweating the fuel rail torque specs, but it fired up clean and idled smooth. Charged $1,100 for the job after parts and labor, and the owner already called twice to say it's running better than it has in a year. Anyone else remember their first big job that just clicked?

Nailing that first one feels huge, man. I remember my first big job on a 7.3, I was double checking everything like three times. The relief when it fires up smooth and you know you didn't screw the pooch, that's the best part. But honestly, charging $1,100 for that work with no comebacks? You earned every penny of that. Big diesel work is all about trust, and you just built a whole lot of it. Good for you, hope the next one goes just as smooth.
