Had a weird coolant leak on a 6.7 Powerstroke last week

It was coming from the oil cooler housing, but not the usual spot... the leak was actually from the tiny weep hole on the bottom of the housing itself, which means the internal seal is shot. I had to pull the whole unit, which took about 4 hours with all the stuff in the way. Anyone else run into this on the newer Fords, or have a trick for getting that housing out faster?

My buddy's truck did the exact same thing last year. That weep hole just started dripping coolant all over his driveway. He spent a whole Saturday fighting with it, said getting the housing past the turbo plumbing was the worst part. Ended up taking off the upper radiator hose and the degas bottle to get a better angle. Still took him forever.

Did he get it sealed up right?

Yeah that turbo plumbing is a real pain, right? @the_charles, I found that loosening the motor mount and jacking up the engine a bit gave me just enough room to wiggle it out.
