Hit 10,000 hours on my Cummins rebuild last week
I was just keeping track for fun, but when I hit 10,000 hours on the engine I rebuilt three years ago, it caught me off guard. That thing still purrs like day one with no oil leaks or weird noises. Anyone else keep a log on their shop builds and get surprised by a number like that?

Buddy of mine did a 7.3 Powerstroke rebuild and kept a log too. He hit 8k hours and it still ran perfect until a tree fell on his truck.

What kind of oil and filter setup you running on that thing? 10k hours on a rebuild with no leaks is pretty wild, most guys I know are chasing drips by 5k.
