What stripped on you? The bolt or the driver itself?

Damn right, I had the same exact thing happen with a Klein Philips on a rusty alternator bracket. That soft tip just gave up and rounded the head clean off, made a 10 minute job take two hours. Switched to Wiha after that and the fitment is night and day, they actually bite into the fastener instead of slipping.

Yeah @elizabethg20 asked "What stripped on you" and it was the bolt head. A Philips head on a bracket bolt, totally rounded out. I've used Kline my whole life but that one time was enough. Switched to Wiha and yeah the grip is way better on tough bolts. The tips fit tighter too so you don't get that slipping feeling.
