Tried a cheap knockoff injector puller on a Detroit 60 series and it snapped clean in half

I was working on a 2005 Freightliner in the shop and grabbed a no-name puller from the discount bin to save time. The second I put real pressure on it, the main bolt sheared off and left the tip stuck in the injector bore. Had to spend two hours drilling it out and ordering the proper OTC tool anyway. Anyone have a go-to brand for stubborn injectors that won't leave you in a worse spot?
