Had to choose between a coworking desk in Bali and a hammock in the same town

I went with the hammock for two months near Ubud, thinking it'd save cash and keep me chill, but my internet kept cutting out during client calls. Did any of you pick the wrong spot and regret it for work reasons?

Went to a "digital nomad hostel" in Medellin once because the photos showed this dope rooftop with fast wifi. Turns out the wifi was fine but the rooftop was under construction the whole time. Had to take zoom calls from my bed with a laundry pile in the background. Live and learn I guess.

Wait @michaelchen, are you telling me the rooftop was straight up not even there? I would have lost my mind showing up to that. Photos are basically lies half the time with these places, but that's next level bait and switch.
