Rant: Tried coworking in a hostel in Barcelona for a week and my back is wrecked

Last month I booked a 'digital nomad friendly' hostel in Barcelona thinking it'd be paradise but the wifi kept cutting out and those cheap plastic chairs gave me a knot in my lower back that still hasn't gone away, has anyone found a decent coworking spot in Spain that won't ruin your spine?

Skip the hostels for actual work. Hit up Utopicus in Barcelona, they have proper ergonomic chairs and solid wifi. Most coworking spots in Spain let you pay by the day, so you're not stuck in a bad setup. I used one in Madrid last month that even had standing desks, saved my back completely.

...and honestly, I've been there with the hostel chairs, they're basically just torture devices with a cushion. What really saved me was finding a place with those mesh-backed office chairs, not the leather ones that make you sweat in the Spanish heat. I ended up at a spot in Granada called Coworking La Latina that had a mix of standing desks and those nice Herman Miller chairs, and I swear it changed everything for my lower back. Also, here's a tip from experience: bring a small lumbar cushion with you, like one of those memory foam rolls, so even if a place has good chairs you can adjust it to your height. It's a cheap fix but makes a huge difference when you're typing for hours, you know?
