Stayed in a co-living spot in Medellin and the WiFi situation was wild

I was at this place in El Poblado last month where the WiFi was blazing fast from 8am to 2pm then totally died after 4pm. Some people said we should all chip in for a backup Starlink dish but others argued it's just part of the nomad hustle to adapt. Which side makes more sense for a setup like that?

Honestly I get why people push back on the Starlink idea. Part of the whole point of bouncing around like this is learning to roll with whatever each spot throws at you. If the WiFi slows down after 4pm, that's just life in a foreign country with a shared connection. You could try shifting your work schedule to match the fast hours, or hit up a coworking space for the late afternoon. That way you're not dropping cash on some backup system that might not even work great if the building's wiring is the real bottleneck. Plus, if you're only there for a month, splitting the cost and hassle of setting up Starlink seems like overkill for a temporary problem, doesn't it?
