Vent: Burned $400 on a co-working space membership I barely used
Signed up for that WeWork-style place in Bangkok thinking it'd make me super productive. First week was great, then I realized I work better from cafes and spent maybe 10 days total there in 3 months. Anyone else fall for the hype of fancy desks?

The coworking spaces really know how to sell that vision of productivity, don't they. You walk in and see all those focused people with their laptops and it feels like you're joining some exclusive club. But the truth is most of us don't need all that fancy stuff to get work done. A good cup of coffee and a quiet corner in a cafe works just as well for a fraction of the price. Sounds like you learned what actually works for you, which is worth something even if it cost you $400 to figure out.
