Vent: Coworking space WiFi failed me in Chiang Mai last month

I was on a tight deadline for a client project and booked a day pass at a popular coworking spot near the Nimman area. Their advertised speed was 100 Mbps, but after 2 hours, the connection dropped to barely 5 Mbps and kept cutting out. I tried switching to a cafe down the street, but their network was even worse. Finally, I bought a local SIM with a 50 GB data plan and used my phone as a hotspot for the last 3 days of the trip. Has anyone else been burned by coworking spaces promising fast internet but not delivering?

You said "burned by coworking spaces promising fast internet but not delivering" and I gotta say I think you might be overreacting a little. I mean yeah it sucks when the wifi drops during a deadline, but you found a workaround with the SIM hotspot and it sounds like you finished the project anyway so where's the real damage? In my experience coworking spaces in Chiang Mai are hit or miss because they get overloaded when it's busy, and that 100 Mbps speed is probably during off-peak hours when nobody's there. Take this with a grain of salt but maybe next time check the place out during peak times first before committing to a full day pass. Also blaming the cafe down the street for having worse wifi seems like you expected too much from a place that sells coffee not bandwidth.

Gotta push back a bit here @nina_johnson86 - when you're on a client deadline, "finding a workaround" still costs you time and stress that you shouldn't have to deal with if a place is PROMISING 100 Mbps. I don't think it's overreacting to expect a paid coworking space to handle their advertised speed during normal business hours, that's literally their whole selling point.
