Can we talk about how long it actually takes to install a paver patio?

Every video online says a weekend, but my 10x12 paver patio in Denver took four weekends because I spent two of them fixing the base after rain turned the gravel into a swamp.

Yep, I read that trying to put down base in wet clay is basically like building on pudding.

Rain will wreck your timeline every single time lol. Denver's clay soil just holds onto water forever so that base never dries out fast enough.
