Coffee grounds made my compost pile heat up faster.

I add my used coffee grounds to the compost bin. They speed up the process and cut down on odors.

My neighbor tried that and ended up with a moldy mess. He just dumped a whole week's worth of wet grounds in one spot. You gotta mix it in with the brown stuff, like dry leaves or shredded paper. Otherwise it turns into a slimy brick.
