Just realized I've spent over 200 hours building my raised garden beds this season
That's basically a full work month of digging, leveling, and screwing wood together just to grow some tomatoes and zucchini, what's the most time you've sunk into a single backyard project without even noticing?

You ever add up the hours halfway through and just stop counting so you don't feel bad? I did that with a paver patio. Dug out the whole thing by hand, hauled three tons of gravel, tamped every inch. Probably took me 150 hours and I didn't even pour concrete. Just wanted a place to set a chair.

142 bags of mulch I carried around the house last spring.

Read somewhere that the average bag of mulch weighs about 40 pounds. That's over 5,000 pounds you dragged around your yard, your back must have been wrecked.
