My dad told me to use pressure treated wood for my raised garden beds, but my friend who grows organic veggies swears it's a bad idea. Who's right?

Check what chemicals are in that treated wood.

The old pressure treated wood used arsenic, which was a real problem. The stuff they sell now uses copper, which is a lot safer for gardens.

Just make sure you seal it with a good stain first.
