Thought those solar path lights from Amazon were a gimmick, but after 3 months of nightly use they actually hold a charge

I put $40 worth of them along my walkway last June fully expecting to toss them by August, but they've survived rain and still glow until midnight. Has anyone else had a cheap solar product actually work out?

Is it really a win if those cheap lights need hosing off mud just to survive, @brian_ramirez?

My buddy Mike put some cheap solar string lights along his fence last spring and we all made fun of him for it. They looked like little disco balls from a dollar store, not gonna lie. Well, his dog knocked over the pole and the lights stayed tangled in the mud for like two weeks before he noticed. He hosed them off and they still work today, two years later. We were wrong, he was right, and now I kinda want to buy the same ones.
