Warning: My new pressure washer hose split after just two uses

I bought a Sun Joe SPX3000 last month and was super careful with it. I used it to clean my patio on a Saturday, then my fence the next weekend. On the third time, the hose just burst near the wand connection while I was spraying my driveway. It made a loud pop and water went everywhere. I'm pretty annoyed because everyone says these are solid for the price. Has anyone else had a hose fail that fast, and what brand did you switch to?

Ever try that JB Weld plastic bonder stuff? I fixed a cracked housing on my old washer with it... just cleaned the area real good with rubbing alcohol first, then slathered it on thick. Held up for two more seasons before I finally upgraded. Might buy you some time at least.

Saw a bunch of similar stories on a pressure washer subreddit. Seems like a common weak spot on that model.
