My old cordless screwdriver gave up the ghost on a big ceiling job in Tempe
It was a Milwaukee M12 that I've had for about four years, and the battery just wouldn't hold a charge halfway through boarding a 20x30 foot room. Had to run to the truck for my backup, which cost me a solid hour. Anyone have a favorite brand that lasts longer under heavy use?

Honestly, the heat in Tempe murders batteries. I started keeping my spare battery in a small cooler in the truck during summer jobs, just wrapped in a towel. It sounds stupid, but a cool battery holds way more juice than one baking in the sun all day. That extra hour you lost might just be from the heat killing your charge between uses.

That M12 burnout is rough, especially in that heat. Maybe look into the Fuel line for the brushless motor, it really eats through big jobs. Ever try the DeWalt atomic series for backup?
