A stubborn client's milia took me three whole appointments to clear

I had a new client with a cluster of milia under her eye that just would not budge. The first session, my usual extraction tools did nothing, and I spent 45 minutes with zero results. I went home and researched for hours, finally trying a different, much finer lancet on the second try, which helped a little. On the third visit, after softening the area with a specific enzyme mask for 20 minutes, I finally got them all out. Has anyone else found a better method for really stubborn, deep-set milia?

Tried a warm compress for a solid ten minutes first, that really helped soften things up. Sometimes a little extra patience with the heat makes all the difference for the deep ones.

Actually, a warm compress for ten minutes often isn't enough for the really deep ones. In my experience, you need a good fifteen to twenty minutes of steady, warm heat to properly soften that deeper keratin plug. It's a small change, but it makes the extraction so much smoother.

Okay, so you mentioned using a specific enzyme mask for 20 minutes. I mean, was that the key part, or was it more about the combo with the finer lancet? Idk, maybe it's just me but I'm wondering if the mask did most of the work to break things down, and the tool was just for cleanup after that point.
