Serious question, has anyone else had a client react badly to a high frequency wand?

I was doing a facial in my studio in Tacoma last Tuesday, and my regular client had a small breakout on her chin so I used the high frequency wand for about 30 seconds, which is my normal time. She suddenly jerked and said it felt like a sharp pinch, and we saw a tiny red mark where the glass electrode was. I stopped right away, used a calming serum, and the mark faded in an hour, but it shook me. Do you think some skin types just can't handle even a short treatment with that tool?

My friend in Seattle had a similar thing happen with a client's thin skin.

Disagree, clients have a right to be upset.

Saw a study, @shane_mason, where 40% of freelancers cite client sensitivity as a top stressor.
