Sunrise alarm clock vs. my phone's blaring siren, no contest
Honestly, I spent 6 weeks trying to make my phone alarm work. I set like 4 different alarms, put it across the room, even tried one of those apps that makes you scan a barcode. Every single morning I'd wake up groggy with my heart pounding, and I'd hit snooze like a zombie. Ngl, I thought the sunrise alarm thing was a gimmick, but my sister in Portland shipped me her old one after she upgraded. It's been 3 weeks now and I wake up before the light even finishes ramping up. The difference is the gradual light feels like my body is choosing to wake up instead of being yanked out of a deep sleep. Has anyone else had luck with a light-based alarm, or am I just a sucker for a $50 gadget? What do you use that doesn't make you want to throw it against the wall?
