Lying to myself about prepping veggies saved me 12 hours this month
I used to chop onions and bell peppers fresh every single meal and wondered why I was always out of time by 7pm. Started buying pre-diced frozen bags from Aldi last week and my dinners take half the time now. Why do we act like frozen veg is cheating when it literally gets the job done faster?

Wait, hold on, you mean I'm allowed to just buy the veggies already chopped? Like that's a real option and not just for people who have more money than time? All these years I've been standing over a cutting board crying over onions like some kind of martyr. I guess I figured frozen vegetables were just sad, watery versions of the real thing but honestly, they're probably better than the half-wilted bell peppers I throw out every Tuesday. Guess I'll have to find something else to feel superior about now.

Bought a giant bag of frozen stir-fry mix from Costco last month and it changed my whole dinner routine. Just toss it in a hot pan with some protein and soy sauce, done in 10 minutes. Used to spend 20 minutes just chopping carrots and snap peas that would go bad before I used them anyway. Frozen is way more convenient and the texture is fine once you cook it.

Ngl the real game changer is frozen chopped garlic and ginger in tubes or cubes. Nobody ever talks about that but it saves me from washing a cutting board every single night.
