Last Tuesday I paid $5.75 for a cold brew at a shop in Portland and it tasted like dirty water. I've been telling myself it's a treat but honestly it's a ripoff. I could buy a whole bag of beans for that price and make it myself for a week. Has anyone else noticed these coffee shops just watering down the concentrate?
I used to chop onions and bell peppers fresh every single meal and wondered why I was always out of time by 7pm. Started buying pre-diced frozen bags from Aldi last week and my dinners take half the time now. Why do we act like frozen veg is cheating when it literally gets the job done faster?
