Pro tip: I swore off video calls for internal chats, now I'm backtracking
I insisted on text-only communication to avoid distractions, but it led to misunderstandings and delayed projects. Implementing brief video check-ins cleared up confusion and built better team rapport. What's your threshold for deciding when a call is necessary over typing?

Yeah, hitting that same wall with text-only was a nightmare for my team. In my experience, a quick five-minute video huddle to align on complex tasks saves hours of back-and-forth. Your mileage may vary, but now I default to a call if an email thread goes beyond three replies.

I was skeptical at first, but you've convinced me short calls really do save time.

What?! I'm shocked you were skeptical. Short calls are a no-brainer.
